Character Enrichment
The client’s need often transcends promotion, launches or training. This is when Character Enrichment comes into play.
African Outdoor Group views Character Enrichment as an added dimension to our range of products and services. So, whatever your Character Enrichment requirements, our Fun Activities will come up Trumps every time.

Team Building: Many of our events are designed to facilitate an atmosphere of healthy competition. This, in turn, enhances team spirit, the ultimate goal of any Team Building endeavor.
Relationship Building: These activities are also put to excellent use in Relationship Building, where people are given the opportunity to get to know one-another while competing in a friendly, fun-filled environment.
Performance Incentives
And what better way to reward your employees with one or more of our non-competitive products? A day of hot-air ballooning, say, followed by an evening of good-humour and karaoke? Or even wine and cheese tasting or a fascinating drumming experience around the campfire? To mention but a few.

Kayaking:
Brush up on your ball-skills as you navigate your blind-folded partner through obstacles and water-based challenges – its like water-polo, only drier. Or like an obstacle course, only so much wetter! And way more fun!

Quad-biking:
A child could ride one of these, sure, but the challenge lies with the terrain! We have trails to suit everyone’s taste – and sense of adventure. Take one through forest or mountain or rough territory if you dare. Just as long as you’re having fun!

Africa at night. The fire is huge and opulent and generous with its warmth. The rhythm of the drums abducts your cares and carries them away to who-knows-where. You answer with a beat of your own and soon the circle is closed; your team is your tribe and all are as one …
Low Ropes Course:
An obstacle course anyone can do – as long as they have their wits about them! Stamina and strength take the back-seat to lateral thinking as you plot and plan your way under, over and around the obstacles just in time to keep your opponent thinking on their feet.

Hot-air Ballooning:
It is barely dawn and the air is quiet and cool up here, high above the sunrise. Below lies the world in its quilted beauty. It is about to stretch and start the day. You’re floating above it all, free, ready to go with the breeze …

Gradients:
The terrain is treacherous beyond belief but the vehicles are powerful and you trust the expert in the passenger-seat when he says you can do it. Of course, he’s right – just as you scale the unscalable incline you’re faced with a downhill as steep as a rock wall and you brace yourself for another dose of adrenaline.

Off-road Driving Experience:
It’s a roller-coaster ride on Terra Firma! Savour the power of the four-by-four as it takes you from obstacle course to impossible obstacle course scattered about the Hartebeespoort area. And remember the camera – there’s no describing the sheer adventure of it all!

Gravel Gymkhana:
Here’s a race against time that will put your nerve-reserves to the test. The track is treacherous and you battle for control as your vehicle skids and slides and those seconds keep ticking by. (And you’ve had that driver’s licence for how long now?)

Rally Experience:
Ever wondered what it must feel like to be a passenger in a Rally vehicle off road driven by a professional? Here’s your chance. Go for it. If you’ve got what it takes!

Drifting Experience
So you enjoyed ”Tokyo Drift”? Well for all those racing wannabees here is a chance to test your skills in a safe environment.
A car is said to be “drifting” when under conditions of oversteer, the angle of slip to the rear is greater than that of the front and the front wheels point in the opposite direction (e.g. car is turning right, wheels are pointing left), give this a try if you really want to test yourself.

Air-gun Shooting:
Put your marksmanship to the test as you topple those tin-cans – or not. Your pride is at stake and so are your team’s points as you hit and miss and realize that there is more to target shooting than meets the eye.

Catapult Shooting:
It’s a sling-shot, only completely different. It’s Africa’s answer to the boomerang, but not quite. It’s a traditional kettie and you’re holding one in your hand, hoping to kill a tin-can, but with these things you never can tell!

Compound Bow Archery:
Go for the bull’s-eye if you can. Only, you’re probably no William Tell. But not to worry – we’ll show you how! Here you can use real Bowhunter’s equipment and hone your technique using our simulated wildlife range ,complete with environmentally friendly foam animals !

Paintball
An old favourite,experience our course with our tactical instructors hiding behind old cars amongst the Bluegum trees and you won’t want to go home !
Boat Cruise:
Give chase after the African sun as it sets behind the world’s oldest mountain. Just relax and drink a toast to the dwindling day as you gently cruise the Hartebeespoort with nothing on your mind but the beauty of it all!

Cheese and Wine Tasting:
An evening filled with the refinement and finesse of truly South African fare – cheese and wine acclaimed by connoisseurs the world-over. The setting? Tastefully subdued and irrevocably enjoyable!

Cultural Encounters:

Navigational Events:
Out there, in the bush someplace, lies treasure. Armed with only scant information, your own determination and a device called a GPS you set out on safari. It’s the very stuff adventure is made of and yes, its great, great fun.

When the sun sets at Hartebeespoort it does so with flare. Sky and water and mountain blush a rich hue of gold and the quiet that settles over everything brings with it a deep sense of peace. Take a leisurely drive into the foothills of the Magalies and experience it all for yourself as you sip your favourite cocktail.

Star Gazing:
The proximity of the mountain right behind the facility enables us to arrange ( on demand ) star gazing evenings with experts.The lack of city lighting makes this an ideal facility ,on cold evenings we also offer Sherry and Port tastings .
Product Launches and promotions:
Due to our multi-disciplined experience and attention to detail numerous clients have engaged our services to launch new products and assist with promotions around the country .We have a team of trained promoters at our disposal and are able to handle various types of promotions from shopping centre displays and product promotions to interactive test drive experiences. Dependant on the clients needs we will conceive a suitable solution within agreed upon budget parameters . We pride ourself upon our ability to work with our clients in planning and executing events,promotions and launches giving constant feedback to ensure that objectives are monitered and achieved.
